Your Visit
Pererinion Ysbrydol Festival Academy takes place on July 29 — 31 at the Gregynog Hall, Newtown, Wales
-
Gregynog’s location near the quiet village of Tregynon, 6 miles north of Newtown in Powys, makes it reachable within 3 hours from all parts of Wales, within 2 hours from Birmingham, Manchester, Chester and Liverpool and just 50 minutes from Shrewsbury. The nearest railway station is at Newtown on the Birmingham International – Aberystwyth line. The nearby A483 leads to the motorway network.
-
It is possible to purchase tickets at the door upon arrival, provided that the concert is not sold out. This happens quite often, so we do recommend booking tickets in advance!
-
The Gregynog Courtyard Cafe is open all year round from Monday to Sunday 10AM to 4PM offering coffee and cakes as well as soups, sandwiches and other treats. Muddy boots and dirty paws are very welcome in the grounds and also in the cafe so why not come and explore and then pop in for lunch or a drink and some cake.
-
The Music Room is on ground level. Please contact the team for any assistance needed. We are ready to help and accommodate!
-
We are always looking for volunteers - especially during the festival academy period. Come and help us welcome our wonderful audience and students, give us a hand counting the chairs, and make sure we have enough snacks and note stands! In return, we promise good vibes, great music and free merch.
