This year, the Pererinion Ysbrydol Festival Academy (PYFA) celebrates a rich and diverse selection of British and American music, spanning a range of genres and styles. Across three concerts, from 29–31 July 2026, audiences will experience music by composers including Edward Elgar, Gustav Holst, Benjamin Britten, Michael Tippett, Florence Price, Amy Beach, and Dana Suesse, bringing together well-known classics with music by composers whose extraordinary contributions have been overlooked or undervalued due to their gender, race, or sexuality, despite the lasting influence they have had on the musical landscape.
